"Wonderful stay! The accommodations (Sentido Michelizia Tropea Resort) was excellent—clean and comfortable. The pool was beautiful, and the staff were fantastic. Breakfast was delicious. The location was also great—just a 10-minute walk to the center with so much happening, very lively (restaurants, cafes, delicious ice cream, shopping) or you can take the hotel’s shuttle to the central area and the beach. Uber is working very bed there.
Uber is working very bed there. You'd better ask your hotel for a transfer from the airport and back. We paid around 70-80 euros for this service. Tropea is a very touristic place, and prices to rent an umbrella with 2 beds on the beach are just crazy (25-60 euros per day in high season!) You'd better take your own beach umbrellas here :) Many "tourist trap" restaurants, but you can find good places to eat if you choose 4.5 and higher ratings on Google Maps. Tropea is a summer paradise: small historic centre with beautiful sea view. Lot´s of excellent restaurants and little shops. Everything is in walking distance, but there is a lot´s of stairs to the beach. Also old streets are covered cobblestones. The property is central to all the restaurants and town centre. It is a 10 minute walk from the train station. We have been travelling in Italy for 4 weeks and this was the very best breakfast. Fresh fruit, scrambled or fried eggs and bacon, homemade cakes, yoghurt, cereal and more. All this was served on the roof terrace with sea views.
