We traveled with our little dog throughout Europe but the staff at Varese made us feel at home and fell in love with our dog named Leonardo which opened up our hearts for the staff and the hotel. We were just minutes away from visiting the famous "Villa Panza" and the famous collection of many of his Arts. a wonderful place with so much to do - the sacre monte, lots and lots of historic gardens, in walking distance the Villa Panza with amazing art and gardens - have lunch there it is fabulous. Despite traveling to Italy yearly, I had never visited Varese until now. I was initially hesitant to stay in Varese since I needed to be within an hour from Milan for the Salone del Mobile, but I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty of the city. Varese was vibrant both during the day and at night, with a plethora of excellent restaurants and cafes to explore. Its proximity to the stunning lakes of Como and Varese was also a huge plus. The sight of the snow-covered Alps provided a picturesque backdrop that made Varese even more special. The charming cobbled streets in the city center were lined with pretty buildings that showcased the history of the area. Although we only stayed for two days, I could have easily extended my stay for a week or more.Guest review byAna

Like home away from home with all the added extras & the welcome basket with wine, crisps, pasta etc was a very nice touch. Owners are super friendly & met us at the train station. We had everything we needed as a family of 5. Hairdryer, washing machine, dryer, plenty of extra towels, blankets & pillows. They even had colouring books & pencils for the little ones.
