It's a very beautiful hotel. Extremely comfortable. The staff is very nice and well-mannered. There was internal heating so I had no problem even in the extreme cold.

Probably the best surprise of our 7 stop road trip through Italy. We chose this place because we had to drop our daughter at Malpensa Airport for a late flight but we did not expect it to be such an enjoyable stopover. The property is a renovated house in a small village, in a residential courtyard with parking and the rear of it overlooks woodland and the river Ticino. Hard to believe it is so near the airport! Our room was on the ground floor with a little balcony and a wonderful view of the countryside beyond. Everything was fresh and clean, comfortable, quiet and stylish with good lighting, storage and excellent bathroom. Emanuela greeted us warmly and we enjoyed chatting with her. There is a breakfast room with a selection of pre-packed items laid up and a small kitchen where you can prepare hot drinks and help yourself to yoghurts, juices etc from the fridge. If you have time you should walk down to the river shore - it is rather beautiful and there are amazing views from the village to the Alps. Almost next door is the cosy ‘Concorde’ restaurant where we had a very nice dinner. A million times better than a soulless airport hotel - highly recommended.

    It's a great place to stay if you need to be near the airport. We drove for the afternoon to Milano. It was an easy drive. Best to use the airport shuttle rather than have to deal with turning in a rental car since that place in the airport was confusing.

    The main reason for staying at the Villa Malpensa is the proximity to the airport, but the bonus is the setting and being able to walk through the ancient village and down a country road -- seemingly hundreds of miles and hundreds of years away from the airport!

    Wish I was there in the day to enjoy the beautiful terrace at the front of the villa. The shuttle was perfect. Spotless clean and left on time for the 2 minute drive to Malpensa. Breakfast more than adequate with good selection. Dinner was disappointing but only there for one night and can’t judge it based on just 2 items. The price for the room is very reasonable so don’t expect the excelsior. The interior of the hotel has seen much better days so be wary of photos.

    The place is very inviting. The staff are the most hard working people we encountered in Milan. The receptionists are not only manning the front, also the driver of the van The bartender do the same!

    We were there because it is close to the Malpensa airport.

    We were there because it is close to the Malpensa airport. We did not notice noise from the airport. It turned out to be a great place to relax and have a wonderful dinner. Breakfast was included with our room which was a big help as our plane left the next morning. The hotel has shuttle service to the airport which was another reason we chose to stay there. We would certainly stay there again.

    Milano was the end of a 3 month trip in Europe and Villa Malpensa was the perfect place to leave from. The quiet, well appointed villa gave me just the experience I needed to integrate the need to go home with the amazing trip I had. It was quiet, restful, room for walking in the village and I loved the historical information available at check-in. The restaurant was high quality food with formal dining vibe that impressed. Well done, everyone! AND..the internet was fast.

    The place is truly beautiful, even though it’s so close to the airport :) It has a great atmosphere, and every detail has been carefully thought out. Everything is very clean. The fridge is full of treats, and breakfast is ready on the table. The surrounding area is lovely and seems to radiate Italian friendliness and good vibes. It’s much better than hotels that cost 1000 euros :)

    Great for a layover. Theres a decent gym (just dumbbells and a cable machine) but better than most hotel gyms, free cold water available from the machine and other drinks also, they were fully booked but still the pool was not busy. My room was also very clean and facilities are very new.
