Hotel is only a few minutes walk to Hanshin Amagasaki station. Breakfast was excellent, a lot of variety. Has a public bathroom which was very nice. (Men and Women separate, of course)

The room was clean and ready for us. First myy room was old and it was a smoking room. We requested to change to a non-smoking room and we got a newer one which was more comfortable and spacious.

The location is quite convenient, there are many bars, restaurants, convenience stores and a supermarket nearby. The next train station is only a five-minutes walk away, but if you are using the Japan Rail Pass, be aware that this station is Hanshin Amagasaki and not JR Amagasaki. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast offered many choices, but the breakfast room was quite crowded at times.

    Amagasaki is a great 'real' town so close to Osaka, but with its own character. We saw a diverse mix of people from all walks of life. Working class, business people, skateboarders, old people playing ukelele in the park. There is a nice old shopping street which is not to be missed. Some good old 'Showa' era coffee shops. We didn't get to do half the things we planned. Will be back!
