What a nice ryokan! Bigger than expected. It even has an elevator! Beautiful interior and the room itself is so spacious and fully equipped. We did enjoy public bath, luckily we were the only visitors there, yay! Outdoor bath is absolutely incredible with a lovely view on the village! It is not that hot as the huge bath inside so I spent a lot of time open air. It was quiet and relaxing, I could see the moon and stars in the sky while sitting in the warm water - unforgettable experience. We had a great rest here, many-many thanks! A special hearty thank you to the Lady (I guess she is the owner) who welcomed us, she tried hard to help us find a place to eat, was very nice, kind and careful about everything so we could feel ourselves as much comfortable as possible.

Akiki was so helpful picking us up from our touring and taking us to 7-11 for dinner makings. She sent us of in the morning with a delicious egg salad sandwich and fruit and drive us to the station. Spacious bedroom with table and chairs and comfy bed. Felt more like being at home rather than a hotel. We also did a load of wash. She lives in a quiet neighborhood with mountain views from our room.

This was the best place we stayed at during our 3 weeks long travel to Japan. The hosts are hospitable and create a relaxed atmosphere. Food is very good and in decent quantities. The owner picked us up from the bus stop and 3 days later driven us back to it. Do not get me wrong this is not a luxury place with all those facilities you do not use anyway. This is a little hotel with a personal touch - something I value the most. We did not use it but it looked like there is lot of equipment to observe the stars

A pleasant walking distance from the train station and places of interest. The view and sound from the river nearby were magical. Breakfast was diverse, and dinner (scheduled at check-in) had beautiful presentation and delicious flavors. The room was spacious with a blend of traditional aesthetic. Very clean facilities. Hotel room was spacious and clean, all the staff were so friendly and helpful. Hotel manager Yugo is always so patient even though we ask lots of questions. We were shuttled back and forth Kiso Fukushima station at the arranged time by different staff each day. Breakfast set was so sumptuous for the 3 days we were there (more like dinner set to us). There is public bath facilities within the hotel and a forest nearby to explore and we took lots of beautiful pictures as well.

Amazing surroundings and mountain view, piece and quiet vibe. The room is traditional Japanese with tatamis and we haven’t slept so well anywhere else in our Japan travel. The bath was clean and we were the only people there so each of us had a small private onsen :) The breakfast was great, with miso soup and rice.
