Taka and Kana are joyful owners. They are really involved in getting you comfortable at the ghesthouse, providing everything you would need, and giving good tips for the rest of your journey. The location is perfect to do the Shimanima Kaido in 2 days (one way) or 3 days (go and back).

Dog friendly. Well equipped. Clean. The dog run was such a treat. It’s big and well maintained. Facilities were modern and clean. Beautiful traditional Japanese home that has been refurbished with modern toilet, shower, bath and even an outdoor onsen. Parking onsite. I was granted a late check in at 10pm due to a late arrival. We used it as a base to explore the Setonaikai Park. The home was very conveniently smacked in the middle of all the different islands with easy access to the mainland in the north (Hiroshima) and south (Ehime)

The location was perfect, perfect stop for the half way Shimanami- kaido route. It has several grocery shops at about 20' walk. The view was amazing too! The dormitory was really nice with 4 beds, which were incredibly spacious, it was amazing. The bathrooms were nice, not mixed, shared with some of the other rooms, but it was never an issue. Everything was extremely well kept and clean. The place has a nice minimal and nature inspired design to it. The staff was so kind and helpful. They helped me figure out some of my logistics. I was able to leave my bags there before check-in. Also, they have a space to leave your bike. The 'restaurant' has a great feel, great coffee, but I didn't try the food. Also, their roastery across the street is amazing, would highly recommend! Would 100% stay there again!

Everything! The manager lady provided me with a lot of information, she was wonderfully helpful at all stages of my stay. This place employees people with impairments, which I did not know before booking. I was delighted staying at such a place and contributing even in such a small way. We were very fortunate to have a chance to stay at Hakata Plus homestay. The unit was new and very clean. it was also very close to Hakatajima Bus Station. Lawson mini market was just beside the bus stop. The host Keiichi and wife were very friendly and extremely helpful. So coincident it was Cherry Blossoms at Hirakiyama Park, appreciate Keiichi to drive us there for sunset view. We were so excited to see the beautiful Sakura all over the mountain. Really appreciate his kindness to spend time for us. The homestay's view was excellent in which the window screen focuss the entire view of the beach, island and the Oshima Bridge. It was the perfect stay among many places we stayed in Japan. Highly recommended place to stay for those whose come to Hakata Island
