If you look for an authentic Japanese experience, this is the place to stay. I really liked the approach and attitude of the staff. Very accommodating and polite. The rooms were exceptionally clean, all the provided towels and futons were clean. The rooms are quite old, with a Showa-era feel but extremely well maintained. The guesthouse is near a train station, making it easy to reach on foot. Even though we booked a single family room, it was not cramped with plenty of room for 4 people. Air conditioning worked well and was not smelly. Overall enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

It was our first hotel stay in Japan, and we’re so happy we chose this one! The hotel is very clean and well-maintained and the location is convenient. There’s a metro station nearby, making it easy to get around, and we could also enjoy a nice walk to Dotonbori and other attractions. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants in the area too, which made our stay even better. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended!
