The house is very beautiful and nicely preserved and reformed, Kumano is a very special place and the location of the guesthouse is phenomenal. But the highlight to me is the host, Yossy, who will treat you as if you had been friends for ages. A very unforgettable experience.

This was one of our favorite stays! The balcony overlooking the bay had a nice view of the water, very quiet and peaceful little town surrounded by mountains and water. The guest house was beautiful and thoughtfully designed and the futons were comfortable to sleep on. We were right across the street from the water and we had a lovely walk on the beach. The host was very friendly and welcoming, he gave us some clementines he had grown and he also gave us a great recommendation for dinner.

Unforgettable stay with inspiring people at the place full of music, artistic vibes and anime mystery. One of the most extraordinary and memorable experiences in our 30 years of travelling the world. Nothing can beat the morning Shiho-san and her husband concert with a pet owl circulating above our heads. Most charming and caring hosts we have ever met. Not to forget about great food we were served, including vegan/vegetarian options.

The location is insane ! It’s hidden in the woods and we were able to see some wildlife such as deers ! We definitely recommend this stay for the quality/price ratio.

    The Onigajo walkway along the cliff is definitely an...

    The Onigajo walkway along the cliff is definitely an experience shouldn't be missed if you're in the area. It's free to walk along that walkway and you can tell a lot of love and care had been put into the maintenance of of the walkway so it's safe for people to experience the walkway. Since the walkway is along the cliff, it's not suitable for any faint hearted or people with disability.
