The place is very clean and equips with everything you need for a night stay. They even have free drinks in the fridge including beers for guest. Room size is good as well. Quiet neighbourhood near the temple. I would stay there again if I return to Nagano.

The location is great, the breakfast was varied and good (and on the top floor with beautiful views), they had a lounge area on the top floor of the hotel as well, where you could hangout. The rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and there was a park right across the street where our 7 year old could run around a bit. We took the Shinkansen in and easily walked to the hotel with luggage despite it snowing.

Staff were friendly. Complimentary coffee and juice in lobby. Room was good size for us with two small kids. Great onsen on top floor with complimentary ice cream. Super handy location- near station, lots of eateries, 3 stops from Zenkoji on the city subway. The pyjamas are so comfy!!

The room was spacious enough for the four of us and very comfortable. We stayed at the hotel mainly in the evenings. It’s within walking distance of the railway station, and there are several convenience stores and restaurants nearby. Loved our stay at Hotel Metropolitan Nagano. Perfect location with everything at walking distance. Staff were really friendly. They even helped us with our baggage transfer to the next hotel. Would recommend them to anyone visiting Nagano.
