Very elegant Japanese style house. I had it to myself as no one else was staying. The breakfast was the most delicious wholefood bento from a local cafe. The bed was really comfortable. Very nice and quiet. It's kind of a nice combination of a luxurious atmosphere, excellent decor but with aspects of a budget hostel feel. (No private bathroom only showers). It would be nice in summer as there is a big tatami room with a view of the garden. This was the guest house annexe not the main loop hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is easy to find and the driveway is easily accesible with a normal car. You can park directly in front of the house. We got welcomed very friendly by the mother of the host and she showed and explained us everything. The house is decorated with love and very comfortable. Every important thing like the climate system and the washing machine is translated in english so it is very easy to use. You even find a map with all important information for the area. The area around the house is very beautiful. There are many opportunities for hiking, a lake for stand up paddling (you get the equipment for SUP for free at the house with a deposit) and there are different cafes and restaurants in the cities around. The host is very friendly and it is very easy to contact her for every kind of question. We wish we could have stayed longer. We definitely recommend staying at the place.

The house is located beautifully in the middle of the National Park surrounded by trees. It is decorated thoughtfully and felt like a home far from home.
