Shimobe Hotel displayed exceptionally friendly and accommodating service for English speakers. The rooms are wonderful and clean and the multiple hot springs are beautiful to experience. There are shows and other facilities provided for enjoyment and leisure. We loved our stay and would recommend everyone to stay and relax at Shimobe Hotel.

If you want the view of mt.Fuji from your room this is the place! Room considered large compare to the average size in Japan. Bathroom is small (which is normal) if you want more space you can use the hotel’s onsen as well. The buffet dinner and breakfast is amazing!

We had a great experience staying at Motosu Phoenix Hotel. The hotel itself is spacious with many rooms, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. The buffet restaurant offered a great variety of delicious food, both for dinner and breakfast. The onsen is on the smaller side, but still very enjoyable and relaxing. There’s also a game center and free soft drinks available, which was a nice touch. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and worked well. One of the best things about the hotel is its location,just a 5-minute walk to the beautiful Lake Motosu. It’s a perfect spot for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature. Highly recommended!

The property is away from the noisy town, with a lot of nature around. The owners are awesome and really chill, Hana picked us up at the train station and even offered us to take us to the supermarket before going to the house. The house is extra clean, well equipped and super comfy, you could see Fuji from the window. The e-bikes were a must, it let us move around on our own and get to know a lot of fujinomiya, we even crossed paths with wild Tunakis. We definitely had a great time

The couple who run this place were so incredibly kind and accommodating! They picked us up from Shin-Fuji station by car, took us to a convenience store before the house, and drove us to Fujinomiya station in the morning. They even had refreshments when we arrived at the house! The house was absolutely gorgeous and if the weather is clear has an incredible view of Fuji. The beds were comfortable and there's even a bathtub available for use. The AC was also American-cold which we really appreciated. Really couldn't recommend it more!

The area is secluded (quiet) but can be easily reached via car or bus if commuting. The house is newly renovated and it’s a traditional japanese home. The property is complete with necessities and there is a nearby convenience store in case you forgot any. Our hosts are the best, they are very kind and sweet. We had a great dinner with them and had a good laugh. It was the best stay we ever had!

A good location for a stress-free holiday in Kitayama, 民宿ふじ苑 is a homestay surrounded by views of the mountain. The property features a terrace, bar, and private parking among other facilities.

When we arrived to our stay we were served a delicious Chinese lunch included in our stay. Mr. and Mrs. Lee were kind and accommodating to us. The next day they also provided a dinner for us and a long day of walking! These meals were a welcomed surprise given that the area is rural and restaurants/convenience stores are about a 25 minute walk. Taxis and public transportation is hard to come by in this area but Mr. Lee shuttled us to the train station after checking out (for a fee but definitely worth it!). Also, the view of Mt. Fuji is worth everything. We had a clear view of it just a 5 minute walk from our stay.
