Modern design, tasteful and stylish. Great onsen, very quiet and wide opening hours. Room spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with wash basin outside of bathroom and a closing screen door for the sleeping area. Nice yakuta and guests welcome to dress in it throughout the hotel. Good location for the Nagome-Tsumago hiking trail. Some really excellent dishes on offer at breakfast.

Our stay at the hotel was excellent. All the staff were exceptionally kind and efficient, providing all the necessary information about our stay at the time of check-in. As it is a newly built hotel, everything feels fresh and well-maintained. Both the room and the facilities matched exactly what was shown and described in the listing. The buffet-style breakfast was fresh and offered a wide variety. We truly enjoy Japanese cuisine, so we appreciated it very much. Check-out was quick and straightforward through the self-service machines. We would not hesitate to stay here again if we were to return to Nakatsugawa in the future. ありがとうございます

The meals were amazing. Unfortunately as I have big tattoos, I was not able to try the public bath house but we had a small private bath in our room and were happy with that. The sleep was great, no noise or bugs. The room was beautiful and comfy.

Not only is the guest house absolutely beautiful, but the host was extremely helpful and hospitable which made this stay the best we had during our Japan trip. He drove us to Magome so that we managed to complete the Nakasendo trail just in time before the last bus departed. He also made a dinner reservation for us and drove us to an Onigiri restaurant for breakfast. We had a great stay!

Beautiful private house in a charming small town. The owner, like the rest of the locals, were overwhelmingly kind. Kanoko also left us some deer jerky from their hunting, which was absolutely delicious.
