The staff was very helpful with the luggage shipping and all the other requests. They have a common room with free hot and cold drinks, really appreciated. The room was clean and the towels were changed daily. There's a mini market in front of the hotel and a train station in 5 min walk. The main Kyoto station is also nearby (10-15m walk)

Amazing hotel close to Umekoji station. After being in a smaller room in Tokyo for the previous five nights, The Royal Park Hotel was a welcome reprieve with lots of space, lovely bathroom and seperate toilet, as well as tattoo-friendly public bath. Hotel staff were incredibly helpful too, helped us send our luggage to Kansai airport.
