It was very clean and comfortable. The property is well equipped and had all we needed to make our stay complete. We were especially happy with the washing machine and laundry liquid being supplied was very helpful. We didn’t cook but the kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. We could have cooked if we’d wanted to. Communication was clear.

It's an old traditional house but very beautiful. We enjoyed our stay there. It was very peaceful. The house was clean and with everything you need.We went by car so can't say about public transport to get there. We also had dinner and breakfast cooked by Chica and that was amazing. Chica also gave us great tips for places to visit in our 3 nights there.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and kindness by our hosts, who made us feel at home instantly. They prepared delicious homemade bread and fresh orange juice, made from their own oranges for us. The surroundings were equally stunning: a beautiful beach just a short walk away, breathtaking landscapes, and the charming little village of Atashika, which felt like a hidden gem. Tennyoza is not just a stay — it’s a complete experience! Shiho and her husband made us feel instantly at home — the most warm, welcoming people. We had both dinner and breakfast, and every dish was homemade with love and absolutely delicious! The views are amazing, and joining them for a live concert was an unforgettable moment in our trip through Japan — they are incredible musicians and hosts, and we absolutely loved every minute of our stay. When we had a flat tyre with our rental car, Shiho went out of her way to help us get it sorted quickly. This place really felt like a home away from home!
