My party had mechanical failure with one of our bikes when we arrived in the middle of a snow storm, and Ono-san went completely above and beyond to help us solve the problem and get where we wanted to go. Beautiful traditional Japanese style house just behind the Main Street of town and directly behind the supermarket in the beautiful valley of the Ashoka to river. The host is fantastic is very friendly and accomodating. Would highly recommend staying here for a peaceful and traditional style countryside guesthouse experience.

Although it was a remote location and minimalistic stay, we really enjoyed the stay and would put it as one of our favourites in Japan. The privacy and Nature are unmatched, and the onsen/ gym facilities are an added bonus that most of the cheaper range hotels don’t have. 10/10 would recommend

Highly recommend this guest house, it is in a very small town with no restaurants so we got dinner and breakfast and it was incredibly tasty. One of the best meals we had in Japan.

I liked everything! My room was so pretty and comfortable. I felt like I was at home but better 🥰 I could stretch out and relax and the futon was so fluffy! I really enjoyed my stay. Daisuke is a very nice, accommodating host. Cozy, traditional guesthouse. Nice talks and lot of recommendations for your trip. I would like to stay here again when coming back to Kochi Prefecture.
