Lovely house in Arashiyama, felt very spacious for a family of 4. The owner was lovely and really helpful and let us check in early and also check out a bit later. She also made sure we were OK and was able to recommend some places to go. Location was brilliant, easy walking distance to tram and train stops and Arashiyama itself. Nice kitchen and bathroom facilities.

Everything! The beds were comfy, the room was spacious and clean. The service was exceptional. There is a complimentary small breakfast with pastries every morning which was a really neat touch. The staff are very hospitable and can't do enough for you. The location is wonderful, just 15 minutes from the busy centre but the immediate area is so quiet! It's also very close to the river for morning walks.

It was beautiful! Was great coming home from a long day out to a clean and comfortable oasis. Gym facility has everything you need and their staff are very friendly. Laundromat had a number of machines and staff were prompt to empty any unattended machines if notified. The rooms were spacious and so luxurious

Great location and close to many local bars, restaurants and the Main Street. Room was huge by Japan standards, and very clean and space efficient. Staff were so friendly, and shared personal recommendations on what to see and do in the area. Will definitely be staying here again when we’re back in Kyoto.

This was one of the most wonderful and unique hotel we haven stayed. The atmosphere, the breakfast, the location, and off course the most helpful and nicest staff , thank you so much for make our stay so special and memorable. We cannot wait to come back Big thanks to the breakfast staff , for makes our mornings so special, the fish was delicious. And to Tea from the reception for such a wonderful help with ours suitcase to Hiroshima (apologies if I don’t remember the name correctly)

    The location was ideal for sightseeing, and if we could have stayed longer we would. The proximity to Arashiyama was ideal with kids. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. The pictures of the property are very accurate and our stay exceeded our expectations.
