I loved being right next to the train station. we just walked to the castle and the garden, the museums which is only about 4 or 5 km away. really easy flat walk. rooms were beautifully appointed.

Breakfast was great with a lot of traditional foods. Follow the alley of shops as an alternative walk to and from Kanazawa station and you will discover great ramen and coffee.
