The location was amazing. The property is beautifully maintained and has wonderful amenities. From the coffee and tea set to the various bathroom amenities including aroma oils for the bath it had everything you would need.

Great location to watch the sunset before dinner. In general you're never far from any thing on Taketomi though.

The property is located on a quiet (even for Taketomi) corner of the island in the middle of a beautiful garden. The room was cozy and clean. The decorations and details made it feel like “it was from a picture book” to quote my wife. The owner is a very nice lady that helped us feel very welcome on the island and we enjoyed the homemade breakfast in the garden the next morning.

Very close to the port, they have bicycles for rent, the price was very reasonable. The staff were also very kind, gave me recommendations on where to eat, and which beaches to go to. Highly recommend this place.

Our weekend stay at Eco Village in Iriomote was delightful. The beachfront bungalow was clean, comfortable and cozy with stunning views of the ocean. Although we were not able to schedule a tour, we hiked into the jungle to stretch our legs and seek out the elusive Iriomote cat. However by far, the highlight of our stay was the exquisite cooking. We opted for the dinner and breakfast plan and were awed by the chef’s culinary talents. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. We also appreciated the free shuttle service from the port and the on-site laundry facilities. I highly recommend Eco Village for your next stay in Iriomote. It is a safe, peaceful refuge where family and friends can gather to enjoy the warm hospitality of the staff and natural beauty of the island. You will be enchanted

This is a charming and wonderful little hotel in the middle of a stunning natural beach teeming with nature and wildlife. Breakfast is a delicious Japanese set meal that varies slightly daily, and the hotel will do delicious home cooked set meal dinners if you order by 5 pm (strongly recommended). The beautiful natural beach and bay it’s on has spectacular sunsets and you can see fish bats birds and an incredible array of crabs. The folks that run it are incredibly kind and helpful. You are in the middle of nowhere in the best possible sense, so bring a good book, camera, and binoculars and prepare to deeply relax。 The beach is very shallow at low tide but swimmable at high.
