This place truly felt like a dream, with a tranquil river, waterfall, luscious greenery and the faint hum of animals and nature. Our stay in the air conditioned treehouse was exceptional, with futons that, while firmer, offered a uniquely comfortable rest. The seclusion of the spot made it feel like a private slice of paradise. The river and waterfall were so serene that I could spend hours simply relaxing on their sun loungers by the edge. There is also a cafe across the river that is run by a wife and husband duo that is only accessible by walking or driving on a path through a scenic rice paddy. It had sushi, pizza, noodles and more that was delicious and worth trying! The lodge also offers a range of riverside activites such as saunas, bike riding, a fire-pit for evening relaxation, and water rafting. The rafting and the peaceful moments floating in the river were core memories from my stay and a must try!

Owner speaks really good English. Room does not have AC but there is a heater, which I like more due to the ambiance it creates. Location is a bit far from center, but owner will drive you there if you ask.

Everything. The unit is just wonderful. Very clean and well equipped. We are very happy that we stayed 2 nights there. We are a group of 6 from Singapore and have been driving around in Kyushu for 2 weeks. This unit is by far, the best and most enjoyable one, however you need to drive should you decide to stay and try to reach the area before dark.

It is not easy to find the location. 5pm already dark, and in forest small road hard to see the road. Have to call the owner to pick up our group from the train station. The owner is friendly.
