The location is a bit off the beaten path, but that's one of its best qualities. It offers a quiet and serene place to relax, boasting a magnificent view of the river both during the day and especially at night. Getting around was convenient: it's just a 10-minute walk to the metro and a 30-minute walk to Tokyo Central. If you're traveling with luggage or faced with inclement weather, a taxi is a reasonably-priced option to the same destination, costing around 1200 yen. The room was spacious and came fully equipped with everything one could need. The hotel staff was exceptionally gracious and helpful.

Most of the staff at the reception spoke English. They are very welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious for a family of 4. The kids loved their bunk beds. I liked the layout of the room and having the mini kitchen and dining area was great. The entire place was clean, they changed towels everyday but the sheets was only changed on our 4th day. They had complete amenities and you can borrow stuff such us oven toaster, speakers, etc. It was walking distance to Kinsichio train station and the other subway. Close to Parco mall where you can do some grocery, Muji store and KFC.

FAQs about hotels in Tokyo

See It to Believe It!

The capital of Japan, Tokyo is a vast, teeming metropolis nestled between mountains and Tokyo Bay. It’s so huge that you’ll have to come to grips with public transport and maybe even experience being pushed onto a train. Yes, it does actually happen!

Get your bearings by ascending the Tokyo World Trade Center near the waterfront, and savor the fantastic views taking in the red-and-white Tokyo Tower and Shinkuju’s skyscrapers. North is Ueno, home to the best museums (including the Tokyo National Museum) and a large park bursting with cherry blossom in spring.

Equally tranquil are the Chiyoda Imperial Palace and Gardens, surrounded by water. Also in gardens is the Meiji Jingu Shinto shrine in Shibuya, a youthful district where neon abounds.

For more traditional Japanese culture, head to Asakusa whose Sensō-ji Buddhist temple is Tokyo’s oldest temple. Outdoor markets sell a variety of wares, though shopping in Tokyo is, of course, fantastic wherever you go.

Whether you stay in a Japanese ryokan, luxury Tokyo hotel or a hostel, don’t fly out of Tokyo Narita Airport or Haneda Airport without having tried sushi. Another Japanese institution is the sento (public bath) and onsen (hot springs bath) – a must try. Also incredibly popular are Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, Asia’s 2 most visited theme parks.

Tokyo is as busy as any other major capital city around the world. I wasn’t particularly impressed by its traditional or local vibe, but it’s definitely great for shopping, tech, and food. The public transport is efficient, punctual, and offers a lot of options. However, you can still find nearby villages or towns, like Kamakura or Nikko, that offer a more traditional feel and a calmer atmosphere. Overall, it’s a great place to visit once in a lifetime to experience the hustle and bustle, but I don’t think you’d need to stay for too long.

Tokyo was a whirlwind of neon lights, serene temples, and impeccable hospitality. The city blends tradition and innovation so seamlessly—one moment you're sipping matcha in a centuries-old teahouse, the next you're navigating a robot-run café in Shibuya. Public transport was a dream: clean, punctual, and easy to navigate even for a first-timer. The locals were incredibly polite and helpful, and the food? A revelation. From sushi counters to steaming bowls of ramen tucked into alleyways, every meal was a highlight. Whether you're chasing cherry blossoms or just craving a taste of hyper-modern city life, Tokyo delivers with style and grace.

We loved the location, very close to lots of restaurants, lively nightlife and lots do to in the area. You get to experience the shinjuku nightlife, with walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars and arcades, the Godzilla statue, and easily accessible to Shibuya and Harajuku by train. The staff were lovely and helpful, hotel room was clean and cozy. Small but equipped with a nice bathroom and shower that comes with a separate bath tub. It was great that we were able to store our luggage there for the day of check out as well.

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location right near the temple. We took our 4yr and 7yr children and loved that we could walk straight out our door to many sights and restaurants. It was quieter than Shibuya and Shinjuku which we loved! The hotel itself was lovely and felt traditional to us. The onsens were amazing and were the perfect treat for my husband and I after long days of walking.
