I stayed overnight, what I cannot forget, and probably will not for next years, are their quality of Food on both days and the scene excites you during your dining and stay. I would say no one can dislike the unique calming view of Yufuin, vocanic sceneries, steams all around village, and snows on the peak and most of Bamboos !

Huge room. Beautiful decor. The atmosphere. It's situated in the forest so it's very peaceful and quiet. Extremely yummy food. You will get to use the private bath for free per day of your stay. Beautiful selection of yutaka also free to choose. Staffs are all very friendly and can speak English fairly well.

The location is very good, just next to the train station, and within walking distance to grocery, restaurants and the shopping street. The room is cozy and clean. Staff is very prompt in helping when we call, even during New Year Day.

Very remote from where the tourists are - I had a car so it was easy to access and easy to drive my big luggage up the hill. Ryokan was very spacious and had all the amenities needed (toiletries, hakata, slippers, extra bedding if needed), and the private onsen was perfect for a dip. Cleanliness was up to standards. Service from the staff was great. I had both dinner kaiseki and breakfast in the main building (only a short 1-2 min walk from my ryokan with private onsen) and it was delicious!
