Old house with not simply vintage style but real details. Love all the furniture and the wood stove at first sight. Nobu welcomed us with some nice herbal tea. She speaks fluent English and we had some nice conversations. She also recommended and gave us a ride to a nice public bath. What we cherished most is the special visit to Mr. Kawanaka, the local artist. It’s our pleasure to meet him and appreciate his artwork. Truly memorable journey. Thank you!

This place is suitable for those going to the Ishida Maruyama-Hatsuka Ishi. You need to reserve a private bath time for 30 minutes per room, but if there are fewer people, you can arrange to use it during unreserved times. A bath after skiing feels very comfortable. There is no lift here, which makes carrying luggage a bit inconvenient.
