I didn’t regret for booking 2N here. It’s not cheap but there’s some which are even more expensive… We paid ¥58908 half board ( dinner +breakfast) each night for a couple. They’ve a welcome drink ( apple juice n coffee) daily. There’s a large relaxing room with comfortable chairs for you to admire the garden n ice-creams ( though very small ones) provided n water . We were given 15 min onsen free for couple-room which you can paid for 1-hr usage if you like to spend longer time with your spouse. They’ve gender segregated onsen for hotel guests free. The meals are just heavenly. Staff are helpful n friendly n can speak some English ( very important for non-locals like us who don’t speak n understand Japanese ) Definitely will come back if visiting this place again. Lastly want to thank Tsuta Onsen Ryokan and Booking.com for their alliance together so that I can book confidently without worry ( some ryokans only book via their website n it’s all in Japanese 😅🤣🥹) . Always Booking.com is my FIRST CHOICE in all my booking for hotel stay as they presented the important n relevant information clearly. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere and right on the shores of Lake Towada. The room was extreamly spacious, had a big TV and also had a table and 2 chairs as well. The outdoor hot spring was amazing to go in and the views were brilliant. The restuant I only went in for breakfast and yes it was expensive, but the food was absolutely amazing. Really good location with local walks neaby and very peaceful location.

Needed somewhere to skip the night after the Towada Hanabi - wished I'd've stayed for longer. Bed was exceptionally comfortable - as if Hypnos himself had come down to lull me to sleep. AC could be controlled via buttons next to the bed. Private bathroom, albeit somewhat cramped. Close to the central bus stop. Free toiletries at the reception. Breakfast was different from what I knew, but it was lovely nonetheless.

Deep in the mountains in winter with lots of snow and a beautiful rotenburo- outside bath - the location was perfect. Fantastic meals with a delicious Kaiseji meal for dinner and a traditional Japanese buffet for breakfast. The staff were very helpful especially the gentleman who assisted us at check in.

Lovely guesthouse in a very small lakeside town. You cannot find this cheap but nice acommodations in this type of town usually. Very big parking space and 2 kitchens, laundry.

The cabins are cozy and clean. Plenty of space for six in a single shared space. The staff is very friendly and the camping is in a great location on the waterfront.

The interior is a little dated and the rooms a bit retro, but it is very quiet, inexpensive, has beautiful surroundings, and a great selection of onsen. In the evening I used the outdoor onsen and enjoyed the full moon. The next morning I used the indoor and met some friendly locals.
