You can walk from the train station. The place is also near two places to have good meals (from breakfast to dinner). There is also a good roast chicken restaurant nearby (heading back to the train station). One big bonus of the hotel is that 730pm till 930pm, the put a nice spread of beverages and snacks, including ice cream.

It has a nice view of the pond at the back. Nice place to enjoy the cold weather. The place itself is nice and spacious. It has everything. The utensils seem very expensive, thereby showing that it values its guests. The receptionist, though not English-speaking, was kind enough to assist us with our needs. 900 meters more or less from the station and less than a kilometer from the outlet.

Very good location, minutes away from JR Karuizawa. Convenience store just right next to it. Generous sized rooms. Free shuttles to and fro ski centre and train station. Very friendly staff. Perfect family friendly accommodation. They had a welcome drink corner with light snacks and a fire place that kept the restless kids (travelling as 2 families with 3 preschoolers!) entertained while we check in. They also had a find where's Rosso mascot campaign that kept the kids busy the entire stay, and they still speak of it fondly today! We would love to go back again 10/10!

One of the BIGGEST room we ever lived in for a hotel in Japan - very satisfying. The hotel staffs are also very friendly and helpful. Location is great and a stone's throw from places of interest.
