We'd just hiked one mountain and had a challenging 12 hour trail ahead of us the next morning. The owner was very accommodating and attentive to our needs, offering a bright, clean and spacious common kitchen that exceeded our needs to prepare dinner, breakfast and a packed lunch.

A hotel with an Onsen with 300 years of history, but also with friendly, accommodating, kind and kind staff. The innkeeper takes care of everything from reception and sending luggage, he comes to pick us up and drop us off at the train station and at the Konbini. We had a great stay here. The owners are so lovely, it was a really nice experience. I had just finished a 3 day hike and was exhausted so the mum made me a delicious Bento box for dinner. The living space is very spacious and light, it felt very relaxing in there. The communal kitchen and bathroom area is also very spacious and has everything you would need.

It was a little hard to find because my maps told me to walk the path that you reach by car but then the staff messaged me what I needed to do,which I would recommend asking them before coming to make it easier. The room was spacious and clean. The shower was nice. Will come back again if I visit Yoshino. The place though is about 2 hours from Nara by train.

I enjoyed my stay at Miyoshino Sakuraan. The location is great, the personnel are polite, and all the amenities have been provided. Private bath (there are 3 or 4 of them) was very good (you just have to book it free of charge when checking in).

A pleasant surprise of the pick up at the train station given that I sent out my request rather late. The staff is amicable, helpful and sincere. His good service truly brightened up our stay in Yoshino!

Excellent stay, with traditional room overlooking garden, degustation-class dinner and onsen. Steep 10 minute walk to centre of Yoshino. Easy shuttle to and from station. Staff very helpful.
