Searenity was a little piece of Heaven on Earth. We loved our stay! Jas and the team went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and comfortable. Nothing was too much! We stayed for 4 nights in one of 6 (I think 6!) rooms on the resort. It is quiet and intimate without the chaos of a big resort. It is situated right on the beach - white sand and blue ocean as a backdrop for every meal. The swimming pool was a treat too! (and only open to residents). Our room was spacious, the bed super comfortable and we had a shower and very large tub to choose between. The aircon worked wonderfully. We loved that the rooms had solar power (yay for saving the Earth), but also had the option to switch over if needs be (if water was not heated enough early in the morning). There were a few nation-wide electricity cuts while we were there, but the solar power helped, and generators kicked in immediately. The WiFi was speedy and we managed to do some work while we were on holiday. We opted for the breakfast and dinner inclusive for our stay, which was flexible if we decided to eat at another restaurant in the evening (we could have a lunch instead). Jas is also the chef, and we were treated to the MOST incredible food. I can't say it enough. The portion sizes were huge and every meal was delicious and fresh! We could have a sharing starter, a main and a dessert, (and endless home made ice-cream and sorbet to our hearts content). The restaurant is open to the public, but guests were always prioritised and guaranteed the best tables. Jas was able to recommend some wonderful activities and restaurants within the area and arranged taxis and tuk tuks for us. The staff were an absolute highlight for me. So friendly, accommodating, approachable and kind. Our rooms were made up every morning and turned down every evening. I can't recommend Searenity Beach Villa enough. We hope to be back one day soon!

The Nomad is a really lovely place. The food was very good, the staff at reception very friendly and professional. The whole set up with the swimming pool surrounded by greenery is lovely. Also nice to watch the different monkeys climbing in the trees. The beach is truly stunning, and while before booking I had feared the beach would be too busy, this was not the case. Of course when you go for a walk you are approached by beach sellers, but they accept a no. We had a standalone bungalow, with our own reclining chairs and lots of space around, very pleasant (that probably explains the high price, but for us that privacy and peacefulness was what we had been looking for), beach sellers walk past, but they leave you in peace when you say no. We also appreciated their environmental efforts.

Everything! It felt so private and I loved everything about the apartment. Interior, very good standard and pool Area was beautiful too. Felt so comfortable in Amkia that I will skip going to watamu. will come back to Amkia in a couple of days to spend the rest of my holidays there.

The Maji Boutique Hotel is incredible. If you lucky enough to find availability just book it, you wont regret it! If you dont like big crowds and if you prefer individuality, this is the place. Everything was excellent; we loved the fresh food, ability to eat at your leisure, the freshly baked breads in the morning, the exquisite location right on the beach, the amazing pool around the rooms of the hotel, the unique local art in every corner on every wall, the stunning customised furniture, the peaceful atmosphere, the privacy as there is only 16 rooms; and the excellent service from the amazing staff who felt like family by the time we left - from the owner, the management, the waiters to even the back of house staff, the pool cleaner, the security, the room cleaners, everyone was so amazing and friendly!! Oh and the deep tissue massage was actually perfect. We spent 6 nights here and wish it could have been longer. We dont usually travel to the same place twice but for sure this is going to be one place we will definately come back to. Couldnt recommend this boutique hotel enough

    Diani beach is a great place to chill, relax, swim in warm ocean waters. Diani beach has a vibrant and eclectic nightlife , for those who want it. Getting around by tuk-tuk taxi is cheap and easy, the people are fab, But . . . don't go in May, or early June, it is very very rainy! December to March are best, Jan & Feb dryest by far. Enjoy.

    Diani is a must see while visiting Kenya.

    Diani is a must see while visiting Kenya. Just make sure you pick your dates well. We visited Diani in April which was the start of the raining season but it was hot. The dry season runs from August to December and I can only imagine how hot it can get. Many resorts don't have A/C but portable fans in rooms. It helps but the rooms are still hot. Bring insect repellent sprays as insects and mosquitoes are around. Plenty of activities to do. Wasani day trip is a must do, camel/horse rides along the beach, sunset in Congo river, glassboat rides, jet ski, kite surfing etc. Be ready to negotiate anything you buy as the locals have the tendency to overcharge foreigners. Also there is a small splash place for kids. It is not as big and elaborate as the big theme parks but it helps keep the kids busy and distracted.

    Diani beach is fabulous.

    Diani beach is fabulous. Try to go early morning and early evening to get the best experience without sunburn. The glass-bottom boat trip to Robinson Island is wonderful and you can snorkel just meters off the sand island. Don’t worry if you didn’t bring a snorkel, they usually have some on the boats (ask before you set out and they will borrow from each other).

    Diani beach and Galu beach just south of Diani are beautiful...

    Diani beach and Galu beach just south of Diani are beautiful white sandy beaches offering all sorts of water sports including diving. Great restaurants along the beach. A wide range of hotels to chose from. I love Diving the Crab dive center at Nomads, which also has a lovely beach-front restaurant. The Salty Squid is great place for either lunch or dinner. Great snorkelling and kitesurfing.

    The cleanest beach in the World!

    The cleanest beach in the World! The white sandy beaches go on forever.. Hotels are just perfect, beach bars are well maintained and the staff the best you can find. Water sports like Jet skying, Kite surfing and scuba diving are easily accessible and affordable. A visit to see the diverse marine life at for Snorkeling and deep sea fishing can be arranged from the hotel. This place takes my breath away with each visit.

    Charming houses in a beautiful African style, in a quiet secluded place, where only noise is sounds of birds (e.g. yellow-footed wattlebird). With a wonderful garden and comfortable swimming pool, very close to the picturesque Diani beach. Very helpful and friendly owner, taking care of the comfort of guests and providing assistance with every check. Well-knowing the local market and attractions - all recommended were 100% accurate (e.g. safari, transport, beach restaurants, shops). Very nice and efficient service team.

    whenever i come to diani beach, i stayed here in Blue Marlin beach hotel. this is my third time! The room is very close to the sea. There is no need to walk a lot, restaurants, accommodations, sunbeds, the sea, everything is convenient to access. also room condition is good, so much clean! and the atmosphere is exotic. it’s like a luxury hotel in cave. i love this hotel. for sure, i will come back after 2 months

    Their breakfast especially Mahmri are very delicious. The property is situated few meters aways from Diani beach. It is very calm, clean, perfect for cozy-relaxing experience. Their staffs are very friendly with good customer service. I really appreciate how Ms Grace at the reception was so friendly yet professional and was able to sort out timely whatever issues I encountered.
