Mida Creek is a hidden gem just across the creek from Temple Point, the tip of Watamu. It is on a private cove with a mangrove island to protect it. The grounds are manicured, the pool is crystal-clear, and the various lovely eating spaces at garden or tree levels make private dining a possibility. The kitchen is fresh and creative. Moringa pesto was a uniquely delicious dish. The staff are well-trained and run the place efficiently. The hotel's domestic cats and dogs are well cared for, as is an exotic plant nursery. I highly recommend this intimate, stylish, well-run boutique hotel and will definitely go back for more.

Very beautiful home in a perfectly quiet area. The best place for a relaxing retreat. The staff was great. So helpful and welcoming. Victor the chef, outdid himself. I think we all left with a few extra kilos 😄 I would gladly go back!

The uniqueness of the resort, the beauty and serenity, not forgetting the amazing/hospitable staff. Food was absolutely lovely, and so were the cocktails 🍸. The view from the bubble room at night was unimaginably great (watching the stars & full moon).

This place iMawe Zuri is a pearl. I appreciated the friendliness and hospitality of all the staff. This is a peaceful haven with a very appeasing sea view, which I was able to enjoy from the restaurant every day, both morning and evening. The restaurant's menu is delightful. I reccomand to try the mango shrimp and rice. There are also has a spa with massage offers, à gym and swimming pools. If you prefer the white sand ans wave Mawe is close to the beach. Bonus : and they can help you organising your excursions with a local guide and airport transfert from Mombasa and Malindi.

I had a nice bright room. There is a wide balcony with a soft ottoman and a table - you can relax in the shade of climbing plants after lunch. The room was always clean, there is a mosquito net, a sofa, a refrigerator, a lot of drawers for personal belongings and 2 closets. It offers 3 swimming pools and 2 restaurants with delicious food. I had a full board, a restaurant on the veranda of the 2nd floor is something! You can eat while enjoying the beautiful view! Fresh pasta, fish and meat, vegetables and fruits. The staff is very friendly, everyone smiles and says hello!) Goes to meet, fulfilling requests. The hotel also has 5 animators who entertain guests every day - water polo in the pool, water aerobics, simple contests like hit a coin in a glass or knock down pins with a ball. No songs and dances, for those who are very shy). I was resting alone and people often came up to me just to entertain me with a conversation, they always asked if everything was fine with me. Every other day, various shows were held in the evening: the Masai and Giriamo tribes sang and danced. Acrobats performed. In a word, I didn't regret for a second that I chose Lily Palm!

We had a wonderful 10 days. The staff was fantastic. Linda, Amos, and Fatma were really helpful at all times. We also got the greatest sea food spaghetti ever, compliments to the chef. Every day, the room was cleaned, and the staff ensured that the resort's facilities were always immaculate. As a result, the entire menu is wonderful; we particularly like the way the steak was delivered, and the cooking time was ideal (as said, the chef is the best). Even though the resort is 3 minutes by tuk tuk from the beach, this was not an issue for us. We could easily walk there, but we prefer to use the tuk tuk every time. The closest beach is the greatest in Watamu, and it is very clean and peaceful. If you want to rest, no one will disturb you. The owner, Manni was always around and ready for a chat. Throughout dinner, he is constantly there to ensure that everything is in order and that clients are satisfied with the food/service. I tried their one-hour massage service, and I must say it was wonderful. If we return to Kenya, we will undoubtedly stay at this resort.
