Excellent place to stay if you need peace and quite (no parties in the surroundings, but no shops either) - superb to relax, enjoy the sun and not worry about anything. The stuff is helpful, the cook is great, the room was daily cleaned. We even enjoyed the presence of the monkeys (you must get used to them and never leave the door or window open, because they can make a mess in your room). The view from our balcony was also breathtaking.

I like this place . It is about ten minutes away from the beach and very close to the African swimming pool. I stayed here for four nights and I was the only guest. It was very quiet. The swimming pool is very good and I like it very much.

We had the most enjoyable stay at the beach villa. Great location directly on the beach with a large garden full of palm trees. Our room was very spacious, nicely furnished and comfortable, with a large modern bathroom. The staff was most wonderful and the food simply delicious. We can wholeheartedly recommend this little gem.

The Maji Boutique Hotel is incredible. If you lucky enough to find availability just book it, you wont regret it! If you dont like big crowds and if you prefer individuality, this is the place. Everything was excellent; we loved the fresh food, ability to eat at your leisure, the freshly baked breads in the morning, the exquisite location right on the beach, the amazing pool around the rooms of the hotel, the unique local art in every corner on every wall, the stunning customised furniture, the peaceful atmosphere, the privacy as there is only 16 rooms; and the excellent service from the amazing staff who felt like family by the time we left - from the owner, the management, the waiters to even the back of house staff, the pool cleaner, the security, the room cleaners, everyone was so amazing and friendly!! Oh and the deep tissue massage was actually perfect. We spent 6 nights here and wish it could have been longer. We dont usually travel to the same place twice but for sure this is going to be one place we will definately come back to. Couldnt recommend this boutique hotel enough

A gem in Diani. The room had all the amenities and more. It was very spacious, well stocked, great shower, comfy desk and chair for the remote workers, smart tv with Netflix and way more. The staff were kind and courteous. Frank (true service professional) at the reception was welcoming, kind and always inquired about the status of my stay. The facilities such as the main lounge area, swimming pool are well thought of. I would definitely be back!

Location: it's very close to the mall 5 min to walk and 10 min to walk to the beach ⛱️. The swimming pool is very beutiful and big for kidz to swim and play. Bonus gift: at check in reception, forget to book for a child and its was new year eve, so price was little expensive. But the stuff and manager were so friendly, supported us high level and give little discount for the price. So, I liked everything the hotel, the stuff, the location is #1.

The welcoming smiles from staff and the owner Bianca they were very kind and friendly. Bianca took us out for a evening Live Band music we really had a blast fun. Were also invited for a staffs Party at Dream Cottage Restaurant and the meals our on top notch and delicious. I want to thank all the staff members Saidi,Sam,Tony,Chef's and the security It was our second visit and will definitely come back again❤🥰

Great location (5 to 10 minute walk from beach and 10 minutes to large supermarket). Great setting around small swimming pool. Perfect for kids- mine are 7, 12 and 14 years. Cleaned daily. Louisa very helpful with local excursions etc. Kitchen well equipped (just no microwave but we cooked on hob).

    Perfect.

    Perfect. I wrote a previous outstanding review but Booking.com only posted my two comments from “suggested improvements”, which were inconsequential but gave a negative impression. The property was lovely, steps from an amazing white sandy beach fringed with coconut palms. I loved lolling on the comfy cushions on the roof terrace in the evenings. Cecilia who looked after us was amazing and a great cook. Her fish curries were to die for. The bed was comfy and the mosquito nets a great asset. The community pool was well maintained with a fabulous on site masseuse, Habiba. Amazing relaxing vacation would highly recommend.

    Mostly private resorts however not far from Diani and accessible from Mombasa. The Likoni Ferry (which is the only way from Mombasa Island to the south) can take some time to cross- we took almost three hours when we first arrived.

    You will need a mosquito repellet especially in the evenings. Fortunately, there was one in the house we could use when we first got there before we could purchase one! Thanks to the host! You need to pre-arrage your movement from Tiwi to wherever you want to go as there is no public transport nearby. The host however had contacts for a reliable driver that was very helpful!

    A very exclusive part of the south coast strip quite within the interior though with not much access to alot of accessible points but great as a destination for relaxation, rejuvenation and family vacation.

    Tiwi is very lovely place to stay.

    Tiwi is very lovely place to stay. Not crowded and does not lookvery commercial. Lovely beach without any beachboys and where you can lie at peace. Good security as well. Far yet near to Mombasa town
