Amazing family that made delicious food. Definitely less touristy and very much an authentic experience. Yurt has a stove in it to keep you warm in the night. First place I learned how to ride a horse and also tasted fresh Kumis. Would highly recommend.

We, me and my wife had an unforgettable stay at this camp on Song-Kul Lake. The atmosphere was incredibly warm and welcoming. The host family is very kind and attentive, always making sure guests feel comfortable and cared for. Especially Aidai and Zura. The food was absolutely delicious — homemade. It’s important to note that this is not a luxury experience — the service is simple, but it’s the best you’ll find in this area. Everything is done with care, honesty, and a genuine sense of hospitality. Another highlight is the fair pricing — unlike many other camps at Song-Kul that tend to overcharge, this yurt camp offers prices that are very reasonable and reflect the quality you receive. They also helped us arrange transportation from Kochkor at a fair rate, which made our trip much easier. Horseback riding is available as well — a perfect way to immerse yourself in the spirit of the mountains. We highly recommend  to anyone looking for an authentic, warm, and well-run experience in the mountains of Kyrgyzstan!

Yurtcamp Rahat is situated in Kyzylemgek and features a garden. Certain rooms are fitted with a kitchen with an oven and a stovetop. Guests at the hostel can enjoy an à la carte breakfast.
