I stayed here for ten days and had an amazing experience. The price is very affordable, and the location is fantastic! There are several convenience stores and some 24-hour restaurants right downstairs, and it's just a 3-minute walk to the subway. There is a microwave, free water, and tea bags in the lobby. The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive! I'll definitely stay here again the next time I visit Seoul.

Da am Hotel was exceptional! Location was just perfect, quiet but very close to the bus stop and to the 2 metro stops. Also very close by the Jongno area which is great for going out. Best part about the location was that the airport shuttle has its stop just 5 mins walks from the hotel. Ticket must be purchased from the airport when coming to Seoul and bought directly from the driver when leaving Seoul. Bus number 6011. In terms of the hotel itself, I have just good words. Very clean, amazing breakfast, amazing staff, very helpful and very polite. There’s a washing machine and a thumble dryer which are feee of charge. Just a very small amount for the washing liquid. It is very quiet, hence I don’t recommend it for people who are looking for parties. Towels are changed every day along with a free bottle of water. There’s also a robe which is provided on the first day. There’s also a rooftop terrace with an amazing view and with a smoking corner. Also, there is a CU store just 1 min walks from the hotel where you can get the Climate Card which is much better than the T Money card.

    Seoul has dozens of neighborhoods that are absolutely worth visiting, and I truly wish I could have stayed longer. Next time, I plan to focus more on exploring the Natural Parks and hidden treasures around the city. Staying in such a vibrant area made it impossible not to feel like a real part of the city, and the energy of the surroundings was unforgettable.

    Seoul is a great city.

    Seoul is a great city. The people of Seoul are gracious, helpful and friendly. We are gingseng chicken soup at a Michelin guide restaurant on the main road leading to the Gyeoungbokgung palace. This meal was excellent.

    The street culture is lively and unique.

    The street culture is lively and unique. From food stalls offering tasty bites like tteokbokki (spicy rice cakes) and hotteok (sweet pancakes) to late-night cafes and 24-hour shops, there’s always something happening. The scenic view from Seoul Tower is increditable. However, Seoul can get very crowded, especially in popular districts like Myeongdong.

    I stayed at Wecostay Myeongdong for 5D4N and it truly felt...

    I stayed at Wecostay Myeongdong for 5D4N and it truly felt like a home away from home. The unit was clean, spacious, and fully equipped with all the appliances we needed, making the stay very comfortable. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear, user-friendly, and easy to follow. The location is excellent — Chungmuro Station and Euljiro 3 Station are both within walking distance, and there are convenience stores like CU and 7-11 just around the corner. The lobby is connected to Lucky Seoul Café, where I really enjoyed the dumpling soup. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Wecostay Myeongdong to anyone visiting Seoul.

    Seoul is a city that crept up on me.

    Seoul is a city that crept up on me. While I had researched some 'things to do', I had no real idea what to expect. With my walking shoes on, I wandered, and the city drew me in. I loved the vast differences between the old and new, the daily street marches, always with singing or marching bands, on political, religious and financial issues, the greenery and the food.

    I cannot say enough good about Seoul or Korea to even come close to how wonderful it all was. Every single person I met either on the street, in a restaurant, on a tour or even in the subways and buses were incredibly polite, helpful and friendly. I walked a lot of different districts and alleyways and always impressed me was the cleanliness no matter where I was. I have already determined I will be coming back on my next vacation. All the food was delicious, the metro was well defined but again most impressive were the people!

    It’s probably the best you can get for that price in Seoul now. There were similar hotels for that price in 2020 in myeongdong or close to gangnam, they all doubled their rates while this one stays the same . The area has also improved with many more restaurants, nail spas and a Lotte mart nearby. If you take a taxi, you can easily reach some good malls and fun places. Even Gangnam isn’t too far IMO. They do have a coin laundry with modern washers

    Location is superb walking distance to Myeongdong night market. Near train station and have 711 & G25 supermarket within 5 mins reach. Have direct bus 6015 from Incheon airport to hotel ! Staff are helpful & friendly especially the concierge who are very informative 👍. Saffron restaurant at the hotel serves good Mediterranean cuisine.
