NetherlandsWe had a great time here. We rented a motorbike to go to What Phu and did a small hike to a closeby buddhist temple. The food in their restaurant was phenomenal and the staff was extremely friendly. The iced cocoa is amazing!

Big rooms, comfortable beds, great bathrooms, lovely garden, kind and arranging staff. All perfectly clean. Little convenience store right next to the reception. Tuk-tuk service to Wat Phou.
I only stayed there one night but I would definitely stay there again if I ever go back to Champassak!

I was in Champassak during the Wat Phou Festival which was...
I was in Champassak during the Wat Phou Festival which was great and interesting and then returned for one night after being in the 4000 Islands before heading north. The Temple are marvellous and would like to see it without all the tourists and festival goers but I enjoyed the festival particularly the opening and the Alms Ceremony for the monks. We went down the Wat Oum Tomo by a small private boat - a 2 hour trip each way around the island, but it was well worth it. Champassak is peaceful and encourages relaxation although I found bicycling in the rice paddies gave me insight into country life. My most vivid memory is sitting by the Mekong and watching the most beautiful sunrises I have ever seen over a river that was as still as glass.Guest review byJanineAustralia - 6.0

The roads in Champasak are very bad with massive pot holes, I recommend to hire a 4wd. Pakse has lots of markets to look at and there are some beautiful waterfall to look at just 1-2 hours drive. The Mekong river is amazing to look at also. I highly recommend going to the Vat Phou.Guest review byHardisty

The room was spacious, clean and the bed looked right onto the river. Everything about the RR was top-class. We felt as if we were the only guests. English was spoken really well by the key customer service staff and the answer to any request was always yes. The staff always made eye-contact and greeted us with sabaidee.
