We had an amazing time at Animals! We loved it here so much we doubled our stay because the place is just a dream. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. We stayed in the "budget rooms" at first, which is just 10 seconds from the pool and dining area. Even though it's called a budget room, it's spacious & very well maintained and has a lovely garden, and the rooms have a large bathroom, a dressing and a terrace. The other days we spend in the double rooms in the main building which are like you're staying inside of a Pinterest moodboard. We got the privilege to meet the Swedish couple who owns the hotel & designed it into an absolute gem. They are just the best people, we talked for many hours & went surfing with them & learned so much about Swedish & Sri Lankan life during our talks. The breakfast included has so many options tot choose from and the coffees are actually the best we had in Sri Lanka. If you would be unfortunate that there is no room available in the hotel, do yourself a favour and come have lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed! Even though we travelled a lot and visited so much nice hotels & resorts, we never had the same experience like we had at Animals! The biggest thank you to Nalin, Samon, Anndala & Arvid for making us feel so welcome! ♥️

We stayed here for 2 nights. Everything is new. We had a big, clean and comfortable room. The staff was really friendly to us and tried to make our stay as comfortable as it could be. The communication is running via WhatsApp. So no phones in the room. This is running perfectly. Whenever you you want something just write and they respond immediately. We highly recommend this hotel for a stay in Welligama.

Great place to stay in southern Sri Lanka! Hospitality at the Jini House is topnotch — the host family are super friendly and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. Great breakfast on offer. Pretty chill and green ambience. Good room with good amenities — the loose natural stones on the shower floor were a nice touch. The house itself is located in a calm and green neighbourhood in Ahangama, conveniently close to the beach but tucked away from (but close enough to) busy tourist hotspots like Galle, Weligama, and Mirissa. We ended up not venturing away from this part of Ahangama and stayed mostly along Kabalana Beach since we found the vibe here quite unbeatable compared to other beaches in the area — long and not-so-crowded coastal stretch with incredible sunset views, nice palm huts, surfing schools, and food options. 💯% recommended! We would come back again for sure!

We had an amazing stay in Uyana. The interior of the room was perfect for our needs, and I really enjoyed the swimming pool. The area was wonderfully quiet, which added to the overall experience. But what truly stood out was the incredible staff. Andy welcomed us with exceptional hospitality, and Janaka, the manager, along with his team, went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. Janaka is a true example of Sri Lankan hospitality at its finest.
