The stay at R Degrees, is one in a lifetime! We have had an unforgettable stay, and the staff really do everything to make the stay a perfect holiday! Clean room, clean swimming pool, always pool towels fresh and clean. Private beautiful sandy beach, kind of sheltered so we was swimming alot in the sea also. Very good breakfast and dinner. The perfect staff! The perfect place to relax.

I fell in love with this place! I cancelled my next accomodation so I could stay here longer. The owner and his wife are so hospitable and go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as can be. The breakfast in the morning was incredible! The best breakfast I’ve had in Sri Lanka. I loved the pool area, it’s like a little jungle oasis. Even after checking out the owner let me stay all day by the pool and borrow snorkels to go to the beach. Then gave me a lift to the bus station! Thank you for making my stay in hikkaduwa! 🙏

Amazing place! The view is gorgeous, the panoramic window overlooking the ocean is just a dream. We were received very warmly, they were always in touch, but at the same time no one bothered us during our vacation. We were very comfortable, thank you very much! Very friendly and kind hosts. On my arrival, they picked me up from the train station though the room is in walking distance from the station. The room is spacious, new, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Walking distance from the main street with all the bustling city life nevertheless the room is very quite. Only a couple of minutes walking from the beach where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Gaindu proposed many places to visit but unfortunately due to lack of time I didn't. Ambalangoda ended up to be one of the best places I visited in Sri Lanka and Sudu Colonial was one of the best places I stayed. Until my next visit I would highly recommend it.
