One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had!! Stayed here for two nights and it was the highlight of my trip to Sri Lanka. The hotel itself is absolutely amazing. Beautifully decorated with lovely views and peaceful surroundings with many birds to see. They had recently had some wildfires nearby so apparently in normal times you can see even more wildlife than what I saw during my stay. There is also a stunning waterfall nearby (almost in the hotel grounds) that the staff take you to and that you can have completely to yourself or perhaps with a couple of locals. I also did a hike with the staff up to the mountain behind the hotel which was great. Then afternoons spent lazing in the pool, chatting to the staff and with complimentary High Tea as I watched the mist float through the mountains. There were no mosquitos in that area too which meant that they could have the large windows open (even at night!) with one whole side of the hotel open to the fresh air and views. There are only two rooms in the hotel, though they have plans to build another couple of buildings in the future (though also with a very secluded feel). I was the only one there during my stay which meant I had the whole place to myself 😍 The best thing about Capoe though is the staff. Isham, Eranda, the wonderful chef and the gardener who guided the hikes. They were all so friendly and attentive and really made my stay, especially as I was a solo traveller and they were very friendly and chatty (though also give you your space when you need it). I've never had a private butler before, let alone one that is trained in both wildlife spotting and making cocktails! Thanks so much Isham, you made my stay really special 🙏🏼 Can't wait to come back on my next visit to Sri Lanka! ❤️

This b&b is managed by Dilshan and gentle Piyumi and their family. They manage the place with charme and love and you feel to be home as soon as you step inside. They are ready to offer suggestions for sightseeing with a local expert. I was amazed seeing a few European customers that keep coming back to the Guest House. When I left I realized why. The room we had was spacious and had a terrace with view. Topically Sri Lankian style decorated. A large bathroom with shower and morning breakfast with local traditional food. WiFi was available and good. Do not expect luxury’s, but attention and love is guaranteed.

I recently stayed at greenmoret agri tourism home stay in Bandarawela, and I must say, it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is located in a peaceful area with breathtaking views of the surrounding hills, making it a perfect getaway for those looking to relax in nature. Huge spacious, spotlessly clean room with incredible views. Absolutely loved the big beds with white crisp sheets. We were very tired and smelly from the hike the Pekoe trail, Shan took such good care of us, did a huge load of smelly washing and provided hot tea on arrival. We were so grateful!! Dinner was fabulous with lots of cold beers. Thank you to Shan, so respectful, interested and interesting. Highly recommended

The room was cozy and clean, there was hot water. The view is stunning. The host family and especially the mother are really cordial, caring and pleasant. I really enjoyed my stay there. I was not pressured to leave at a certain time and was given my time and privacy. Highly recommend.
