The property is worth staying at, the room was very spacious and had a private pool with all amenities. The staff was very cooperative and helped you to make you comfortable till last. The owner of the property is an amazing guy and arranged the things beyond the odd timings. Great stay!

I had a wonderful experience at this brand-new hotel in Kandy. The facilities are excellent, everything is spotlessly clean, and the entire property feels fresh and modern. The location is great. The rooms are clean and comfortable. They have A/C and hot water, comfy beds. Some rooms have great rooms. The property is well built and unique. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They treat the guests with respect. I had several special requests and they accommodated every exceptionally. The food there js also great as they have a full menu and it is so convenient have a meal without leaving the property. The environment in quiet it is great to unwind by the pool in the evening. This has become my go-to place when I visit Kandy. I will definitely recommend Muduna Walawwa for anyone who travels to Kandy.

After a disappointing experience in Kandy and a grueling 10-hour drive, we arrived at this incredible haven, where we were warmly welcomed by Inoka at the gate. She went above and beyond, even helping us maneuver our little tuk-tuk up the driveway. The dinner she prepared was absolutely delicious, and the hospitality was unmatched. This place, and its wonderful owner, truly became one of the highlights of our journey through Sri Lanka. The breakfast? Simply out of this world! We’ll be recommending this hidden gem to everyone we know.

10 minutes walk for the center of city yes when you come back it’s a little steep but not that bad. I’m 66 with a bad knee but didn’t see any problems going back and forth to the city.
