A fantastic stay! Villa Honeycomb is a gem—small, clean, and complemented by a wonderfully spacious garden, perfect for relaxing. The kitchen is well-equipped and incredibly useful, making it easy to prepare meals. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the service. The staff is attentive and helpful, and the host is an absolute professional and a joy to interact with. Highly recommend!

The property is brand new, beautifully designed to feel close to nature, and the villas are spacious, stylish, and very comfortable – we especially loved the rain shower and tasteful decor. The location is just up from Hiriketiya Beach (walkable but a bit hilly), and there’s a tuk tuk service available which was super helpful. The pool is large, the perfect temperature, and drinks by the pool made it even more relaxing. Breakfast was delicious – we chose the Sri Lankan option – and although we went out for dinner, other guests raved about the on-site chef. What really made our stay was the staff – they were absolutely lovely. Warm, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make us feel welcome. Their kindness and enthusiasm really stood out and made the experience even more special. Some villas are still being finished, but what’s open is already excellent. Once fully complete, this will be one of the best places to stay near Hiriketiya. Highly recommended!

Fantastic hotel from the moment we checked-in until check-out! Staff really was there to help when needed and swimming pool was amazing! A little bit overvalued in terms of pricing in my opinion for Sri Lanka but overall it was a super nice stay and we enjoyed it. Breakfast was delicious and a lot to choose from!

Perfect new Villa. 100m from main road, so you get the quiet and peaceful time in evening. Place was very clean and brand new. Host and his all family was so kind and helpful. Welcome coconut was perfect after long travel. And they offer us typically Sri Lanka snack and food. Can’t imagine better place for stay.

Sanku and his family where super nice. The room and bathroom was clean. The breakfast was prepared by bis wife and exceptional. They asked us what we wanted for breakfast and we got it. The WiFi was better than in other homestays we visited. Sanku is also a competent surf teacher and he gave us a lesson for a compatitive price given that it was including Board rental an the tuk tuk ride to the beginners beach. He also hooked us up with a Scooter for a price below market rate (1700 instead of 2000). There where also puppies!!!!

We had an amazing stay! Nishadi and her husband were really welcoming, friendly, and always helpful. The breakfast was exceptionally diverse, delicious! We were able to rent a scooter directly from them, which was super convenient. The room was spotless, modern, and equipped with air conditioning. Highly recommended!

    Our stay at Dickwella Resort and Spa was the highlight of...

    Our stay at Dickwella Resort and Spa was the highlight of our visit to the south of Sri Lanka. The location, food, staff, and service were above and beyond our expectations. We made the choice of having breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and I would highly recommend anyone else to do the same. The food is some of the best anywhere in Sri Lanka, especially the fish made in various ways. The stay was made extra special by the attentive and friendly staff and they took every effort to provide us with the best service. Big thanks goes out to all the staff in the reception, restaurant, pool, housekeeping, and maintenance. We look forward to our next stay with you.

    I would avoid Chrystal Resort Dickwella at all costs.

    I would avoid Chrystal Resort Dickwella at all costs. Venture to any other hotels in the region and skip this hotel. Management was completely unsupportive to any of our needs - we showed up after a long flight to find out our rooms were not available at all and were told to go find another hotel.

    Beautiful beach right on the shore of the Indian Ocean,...

    Beautiful beach right on the shore of the Indian Ocean, which is always warm as five o'clock tea. Big swing, and a bar on the beach... all you need here is time. Time to relax, time to forget the road trip here, to forget that you have to go back to daily chores, etc. Just swim, sun bathe, sip, repeat!

    It's a very calm and chilled vibe. Not many beach boys bothering you. The villagers are super friendly. The beach is amazing. There's just something very special about this place. You have to experience it yourself to know.

    Lovely small apartment with everything you need for a few days at the beach! Huge comfy bed, fridge, balcony and very clean. The hosts are fantastic and provided a lovely breakfast, and even drove us to our next destination in his massive Tuk Tuk! You can walk to Dikwella beach (literally 10 steps) or cheap tuk tuk to Hiritikya. Highly recommend!

    The location of the property was perfect for us. Dikwella Beach is lovely and the accommodation was right on the beach, only a short walk to the restaurants and cafes yet at the quieter end. The room itself was a good size and immaculately clean. The shared outdoor areas were nice, particularly the beach cabanas.

    This homestay is well located in Dikwella, within walking distance of Hiriketiya Beach. The family managing the hotel is very attentive, and the breakfast is excellent. The hotel also arranges scooter rentals and offers a laundry service.
