Amazing views, very friendly host family. Invited us to celebrate the husbands birthday with them. A super fun and fantastic night. Food was fabulous. Met their friends and family. We all sat around the table, listened to songs and just had a lovely evening. Highly recommend. Was a memorable experience. They can coordinate boat tours on the reservoir. Just a stunning location. Directly Across the lake is the Tea trails hotel that rents for a $1000/ night. Same views at a much better price.

Everything! I am a fussy person and stay in the best places .. this is up there with them all.. I’ve never felt so special … the staff were fantastic! The food amazing and the views OMG .. Greenfield bedz was the perfect place to unwind and recharge. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. The room was comfortable and clean, and the balcony offered a stunning view that was both calming and inspiring. The hotel's peaceful atmosphere was a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. And to top it all off, the prices were very reasonable for the quality of the experience. I highly recommend greenfield bedz to anyone looking for a tranquil getaway.

Great view - hotel nestled in a tea estate at an elevation providing panoramic view of misty hills – including Adam’s Peak. Staff very attentive and customer oriented. We tried their local ( breakfast) and western dishes ( dinner), which were both tasty and adequately portioned. Rooms and Linen – freshly washed and clean and a quick peek inside kitchen revealed surprisingly clean environment! Something rare in this part of world.

Wonderful place, it is located in a very nice place in a quiet location. The hotel is on the hill and has a good view of the surroundings, it is easily accessible by walk (15min) on the train racks (by the way, if you continue on them you will go to some tunnel very nice place) The staff here is amazing, Sri Lankan people are so friendly but I need to say that this place was one of the best. We had fun talking with our guests and see how they prepare the meals. Same with the food, definitely a top3 food eaten in Sri Lanka with real no spicy food. You can have dinner there with a lot of choices We also enjoyed the rooftop, it is amazing during the day but even more during the sunset time, we had a beer watching it with my girlfriend putting some music. I would definitely recommend this place for a visit, Hatton is a quiet town where a bit less tourists go to but worth a visit since the surroundings are nice with tea fields everywhere.

The owner and staff at Hill Cool went out of their way to make sure my stay was comfortable! I was picked up from the train and even dropped off to my next location. I had a double room that was super comfortable, clean, with a nice balcony and view of the tea plantation behind the building. The buffet Sri Lankan breakfast is also amazing, it is 100% worth getting if you're on the fence. The restaurant is very popular especially for dinner and late at night so there can be some noise but it didn't bother me.
