We stayed at this place for 10 days, and it was one of the most comfortable and beautiful experiences during our entire trip around Sri Lanka. The view from the room is absolutely stunning — you can lie in bed and admire the mountains and a reservoir that looks like a fjord. Truly a magical setting. The room is very spacious (over 50 m²), with high-quality finishes, stylish design, and a small kitchen. We had a huge balcony on the second floor, which was perfect for relaxing. Everything was there: hot water, fridge, a work desk, and great Wi-Fi. The hosts are incredibly friendly and caring. The staff is excellent — always ready to help with anything. The food deserves a special mention: delicious and hearty breakfasts and dinners, everything was prepared with great quality.

Comfortable room, spacious European standard bathroom, great bed and pillows, super clean, freshly laundered sheets, nice thick big-sized towels. Big safe in the room, electric kettle for hot tea or coffee, cups & saucers, enough space to unpack your bags. A/C, fan, balcony with a view on the gardens. Comfortable chairs and a table. Enough sockets near the bed. Big property, located about 3 kilometers from the town and the beautiful Victoria golf course and restaurant, with hiking opportunities nearby. Management and owner are fantastic, always ready to help. They took us to town in their tuk tuk or to the neighborhood restaurant. There is a Sri Lankan restaurant around 1.5 kilometers from the hotel, but it's pretty basic. The best spot for a good meal is at the golf course restaurant that offers great views and walks down to the lake. It's open to everyone. The town offers local fares, nothing fancy.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Aloy’s residence for two days, and I must say, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. From the warm welcome by the owners to the pristine cleanliness of the room and space, every aspect exceeded my expectations. The homemade food served upon request was a delightful touch, adding a homely feel to the entire stay. The property itself is simply beautiful, and every detail was meticulously taken care of. I have to give a perfect 10 out of 10 for everything. Above all, the owners were the epitome of warmth and kindness, making my stay truly memorable. Additionally, if you need it, the owners will graciously create an itinerary for you to explore Sri Lanka and are always ready to assist with anything you may need. Highly recommended!
