We had a wonderful time here. The room was very comfortable and clean, with a private pool and a beautiful river view. The bed was super cozy and the AC worked perfectly. Breakfast was excellent and really delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommend this place if you're visiting Wilpattu!

This is quite simply an exceptional hotel, made so not only by our beautiful room and the surroundings, but by Mark and the team of people who made our stay so special. This is one we will always remember for being unique and idylic. Our kayak on the lake with Ravi was fantastic and Ravi's knowledge about the wildlife was exceptional. The whole team were there at 4.30am to ensure we had everything we could possibly ask for before our early morning safari. I can not praise our stay highly enough and we would have loved to have stayed for longer. Thank you Mark and everyone who made our stay so very perfect.

An absolutely breathtaking hideout in the jungles of Wilpattu, supposed to Sri Lanka's largest wid life park. Delicious meals & very friendly atmosphere with staff lead by energetic Kumari a lady. We were greeted by the site of Elephants on the drive way to the resort. The entrance to the park is very nearby & the tracker Aslam made every endeavor t get proper sightings of animals which included two leopards. A must visit holiday resort to all tourists visiting Sri Lanka. Thank you Kumari & Rohitha.

Beautiful place, close to the entrance of Wilpattu National Park. You are surrounded by nature and birds. The accommodation is new and spotless! Very good beds and the host is super friendly! Highly recommend this place!

Wonderful cabins in the forest very quiet and relaxing cool swim in the river. The staff were very kind and helpful when I had a migraine. They made the food more spicy for my husband. The owner is very helpful and interesting to talk too, they have done a great job of keeping the place part of the jungle. They organised a safari for us which was really nice we didn't see too many other jeeps and even managed to see a leopard.

Our stay at Wild Wadi Wilpattu was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and incredible service. We had the opportunity to embark on two incredible safaris with the knowledgeable and friendly staff. The wildlife safari was absolutely breathtaking—we were lucky enough to spot leopards, elephants, crocodiles, and so much more in their natural habitat. The boat trip through the mangroves and lagoon was equally magical, offering stunning views and an up-close encounter with Sri Lanka’s diverse ecosystem. The food was simply outstanding—authentic Sri Lankan cuisine at its finest! Both breakfast and dinner were full of flavour, freshly prepared, and truly showcased the best of local dishes. The accommodation was comfortable, well-equipped, and immersed in nature. Waking up to the sounds of the jungle, surrounded by monkeys and wildlife, was an unforgettable experience. It felt like a true escape into the heart of Sri Lanka’s wilderness. What truly made our stay so special was the wonderful staff and the incredibly kind owner, who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience possible. Their passion for hospitality and wildlife made us feel right at home. And last but not least—the absolute star of our stay was Duan, the owner’s young puppy. He is, without a doubt, the most adorable and charming little dog we’ve ever met! Very good stay for a trip to Wilpattu National Park as Safari Tours are offered and you can enter the park fron the Western Entrance. I made a half day safari and saw leopard and elefants and many more animals. Don´t miss out to go to the beautiful lake just 10 minutes away and to the rice fields - it´s beautiful there! The staff ist very friendly and helpful and the food is good. So overall a perfect stay for Wilpattu!
