This is a real hidden gem in Kandy, we were lucky to come across this newly started resort, everything was very clean and perfect..the staff were very attentive and cordial. The best part is the rooftop restaurant..we highly recommend!

A Wonderful Stay at Stone Gate – More Than Just a Place to Stay! We had such a lovely experience at Stone Gate in Katugastota. It’s not a typical hotel – it’s part of the owners’ home, with the ground floor being their residence and the first floor prepared beautifully for guests. This made our stay feel very warm and homely. The owner and their entire family were incredibly welcoming and kind to us throughout our stay. They treated us like friends rather than just visitors. A special mention goes to their adorable husky, Chotto, who added so much joy to our time there! If you're looking for a peaceful, friendly place with genuine hospitality, I highly recommend Stone Gate. It's a place where you feel truly cared for.

This is not just a homestay; it's a truly inviting home. The hosts, Sir and Ma’am, have a beautiful property that harmonizes with nature and tranquility. Their house is exceptionally clean, which adds to its charm. Once we arrived in Kandy, we didn't feel the need to leave the property. We are grateful to Ma’am for the wonderful breakfast and meals. We booked this last minute after finding the last accommodation unsatisfactory. The host (Nik) was very accommodating, he gave us tea whilst we waited for the room to be ready and the room was very comfortable and clean. We had a delicious breakfast every morning and Nik also arranged a driver to take us to our next stop. We really enjoyed our stay.

The whole experience was impressive and after having stayed in many hotels in Sri Lanka, this is definitely one if the best. The sounds of the rainforest at night and the lake view in the morning amplified the experience. Staff was very helpful and gave great guidance beyond the cliches.

    We had a fantastic stay at Symphony Homes during our visit...

    We had a fantastic stay at Symphony Homes during our visit to Kandy. The villa looks exactly like the photos — modern, very clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The peaceful location was perfect, yet only a short drive to Kandy city and major attractions. The private garden was lovely to relax in, and the fully equipped kitchen made our stay even more comfortable. The host was extremely friendly and helpful, always quick to respond and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a peaceful private villa in Kandy!

    It was a visit to Ride Viharaya, and All Viharaya Rock temples in Central Sri Lanka. We did not stay long to visit All Lena (there Place where Thiptaka was originally written on Ola leaves) and Nalanda Gedige (Geographical centre of Sri Lanka)
