Best place to stay when you go to Bundala! The cottages are super beautiful and the location is insane. It’s right by the lake where you can see so much wildlife. Chami and his wife are so incredibly friendly, they made our stay unforgettable. Also highly recommend doing a safari with Chami - he’s so knowledgeable and passionate about wildlife.

It is a simple hotel that does everything it needs. The host makes a delicious buffet lunch every day. I used this hotel because I had to get up early in the morning to go to Bundala National Park.

Beautiful resort Everything was excellent, the stuff were kind and helpful, the room was big with a lake view , the food was great And of course the fact that there were so many animals and birds just walking around , Great experience we also gave food to the elephants We enjoyed it so much !

amazing location to be able to visit the uncrowned Bundala national park Clean and quiet room, beautiful view with a lot of bird, really good for the price. The owners is helpful and super kind, and the best things is the dinner home made by the owner’s wife, so far the best rice and curry we try in srilanka (and as French traveller we try a lot 😉). you can visit the national park all day long and the dinner will be ready for 1200 roupies per person ! we recommend this place for sure

Good environment At night you can various animals sound because this is thick ungle area. Early morning you can vast typeof birds and their songs specially peacock. Such a nice Hotel run by the most lovely family! They were so welcoming and attentive, helped us book the safari which was amazing. Our tour guide was the best, super helping and knowledgeable! The food was great. Big portions and reasonably priced! Our room was very clean and comfortable would definitely stay here again!
