From the warm welcome upon our arrival to the personalized service throughout our stay, they went above and beyond to make us feel like valued guests. The level of attentiveness and professionalism demonstrated by the team was truly remarkable. The dining experience at Casa Heliconia was a culinary delight. Each meal was a culinary masterpiece, featuring fresh and locally sourced ingredients. This is the perfect place to land after a long flight. The environment is calm with a nice garden and the sound of birds in the morning. But even better is the hospitality of the hosts. Such a lovely family! They helped us out in every way they could, even before we had arrived at their place. Also, Eranda took us to a nice and quiet temple in his tuktuk. And Anusha makes wonderful meals! We could not have wished for a better start in Sri Lanka. Also convenient: the train station is close by.

A special thank you to Danushka for giving us the best start to our Sri Lanka trip. Everything is possible and doable here, and you are truly well taken care of! The air conditioning worked perfectly, we slept wonderfully (loved that we had a duner), and the bathroom had hot water. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, and the garden was both lovely and relaxing.
