I had the pleasure of staying at The Nest Kandana, and I must say, it exceeded all expectations! The room was incredibly spacious, cozy, and beautifully designed, making it feel like a home away from home. The bathroom was spotless and well-equipped, ensuring a comfortable and refreshing experience. Its location is perfect – easy access to town and everything you need within reach. The attention to detail and hospitality truly made my stay special. I'm honored to be the very first customer in this amazing room. All the staff were very friendly, including the restaurant staff, led by the restaurant's night manager, Bernard, who was very friendly and helpful. Thank you to the employee and morning manager at the restaurant, Suranga, who was very respectful, helpful and loved us. The polite and wonderful employee, Shashini, loved us when we arrived at the restaurant and fulfilled our requests without getting bored. I ask the hotel management, if our opinion matters to them, to give them a financial or monetary reward because they work for the hotel and not for themselves.

We arrived in Sri Lanka very early in the morning (around 2 am), and although there was some confusion with our booking—likely due to booking.com not notifying the hotel about our late-night arrival—the staff handled the situation with exceptional kindness. The team who received us were incredibly understanding and made us feel safe and welcome despite the hour. They quickly arranged a room for us and ensured we were comfortable. Their hospitality really stood out and made a stressful situation much easier to navigate. We truly appreciated their accommodating and friendly approach.

The booking com charge and phone call booking charge very big deference, in a room lotof mosquitoes, atlases no water glass in a room, very poor staff its not a hotel actually its banquet hall, why booking com recommend this kind of place?.

Aathma is a feast for the eyes and the heart. The setting is so lovely with lake views and peaceful gardens. As others have said there is always something new, beautiful or quirky to catch your eye. The hotel feels like a treasured family home in which you are an honoured guest. The staff are excellent, so professional and competent but friendly and fun as well. Bohoma stoothi Imran and Geeth for your outstanding care of us. The food was also some of the best we have had in Sri Lanka.
