We stayed in one of the front rooms, and really enjoyed sitting on the balcony looking out at the mountains. Rawana provided amazing service, very attentive, we had Sri Lankan breakfasts lunches and dinners cooked by his wife which were so delicious- genuinely some of the best food we've had so far. Rawana also took us in his the Tuk Tuk to see the views of lakegala, guided us on a hike to diyakerella Ella falls, and drove us to the sliding rock swimming spot even though it was raining the whole time (4-5h)! Their 3yo son was also very sweet to hang out with. In terms of prices he charged us 10 000 for the Tuk Tuk and guide, and I think we paid 7-8000 for two dinners and a lunch for two. The rooms and shared bathroom were basic, clean and comfortable, the beds are a little hard, and there are no sealed windows (but we didn't have any issues with bugs) but none of that is a problem, it's in the middle of a jungle! Definitely recommend!

Getting there by private car was a challenge, google maps is simply not accurate. Best way is to contact resort before. The team is outstanding, booked only a day before and they managed to make us feel at home. Will come back for sure

First of all, the way to get there already starts the feeling of adventure. A 4×4 vehicle picks you up for an off-road experience. When you arrive an intimate and dedicated staff greets you, the hotel manager welcomes you and explains everything that awaits you while the rest make sure your luggage reaches your tent. The tent has a private toilet and shower with hot water all the time. And their hiking trails are just crazy! The guide who joins you is dedicated and full of knowledge and will take you to magical and stunning places!

This place honestly felt like a fairytale. You wind your way in through a lush rainforest path, skip across a felled tree and stumble upon a treehouse nestled in a clearing right by a bubbling brook. Loved the adventure, loved the location, would love to have stayed longer.

We put 10 out of 10 because we cannot put more. The area is amazing, off the beaten-path Our host Rohana is extremely knowledgeable about his country and more, his English is very good, we could converse with him for hours. The dishes prepared by himself and Nisha were absolutely delicious. Last but not least, the room has the biggest bed that we have never seen and comfy, the view is breathtaking on the landscape, sunrise, sunset,… This place is an hidden gem for nature lovers, people seeking for authentic and genuine encounters with locals. It is in the middle of the jungle, perfect to do hiking. They took care of us during our stay. It is definitely one of our favorite places we visited in Sri Lanka, highly recommended if you want adventure We are a couple, one of us loves adventure and hiking in the jungle while the other is more used to regular traveling. The adventure one just loved the place because is perfect to be in nature and just at the start of amazing trails with waterfalls (you actually sleep next to one waterfall). The other, despite not being his preferable choice, thanks to the hoster, felt safe and enjoyed the place very much. They provide typical Sri Lankan food which we loved and the hoster explained how people live there and the nature, it was great to learn so much from the locals.
