Sun Mount was our best stay in Sri Lanka! The rooms and the entire structure are brand new, very clean, and thoughtfully designed. The breakfast is the best you could wish for after trekking Adam's Peak. Shimon is a kind, attentive, and caring host. Thank you so much!

Everything! I am a fussy person and stay in the best places .. this is up there with them all.. I’ve never felt so special … the staff were fantastic! The food amazing and the views OMG .. Jayram (I hope I spelled it ok) and his family are very kind hosts. Their accommodation is located just outside of Dalhousie, but for climbing Sri Pada its great. You get to be close to nature, the lake and tea plantations. There is a good view of the lake and Sri Pada from the upstairs seating area. You can quietly sit and read there is you like, power outlets available. The bus stop is right in front of the accommodation, which is also convenient.They have a cute dog names Simba. The room is great, it has everything you need for an excellent price. And clean too. The people living around the accomodation are very friendly too. Go and have a walk and interact with them if you can. There is a restaurant in the hotel too, the food was amazing, freshly prepared even at 2am!

The most delicious coconut pancakes I've had! The roti, dhal, sambal, chutney also were exceptionally tasty and beautifully prepared and presented. Also a very peaceful, open sided restaurant with mountain views to eat in.

location and views are amazing, hosts super lovely and caring, local breakfast one of the very best we had, nearest to the laxapana falls. super good value for money, i would recommend everyone to come here and discover a wonderful waterfall and sorroundings, of authentic and beautiful sri lanka!

Amazing experience stayed here for one night.Very friendly and helpful staff.The food here was delicious and the portions are very filling.The view is amazing,even we could see the sunrise from our room balcony.we were in the top rooms.The room was very clean and was so big for two .The WiFi is available in the rooms.And truly we enjoyed our stay.
