The owner was quite helpful with providing us with the directions to the location as we got a little lost on the way. The owner's brother was expecting us at the door as promised. When we arrived we were greeted with tea, coffee and lovely Sri Lankan butter cake. The lady of the house was really friendly, kind and hospitable. She allowed us to make our dinner in her kitchen. We had a comfortable rest in our room after a very long day. The lady also gave me a kettle to use as I had coffee sachets. Drinking water was available from a water filter. The room and bathroom was very clean and we had blankets and quilts in case it got a bit chilly which it did later that night. The next day the lady (Amma) offered us chickpea's ,onion and egg sandwiches for breakfast. We asked for the sandwiches to be toasted and she went out of her way to do so. She also gave us black coffee with ginger which was the first time we tried it and it was lovely. Overall our stay was comfortable just what we needed after a very long bike ride. We definitely recommend this property as our stay was pleasant and the family was so lovely. We will surely visit again. Great value for money!!!

The place is brand new. When we stayed they opened just a week before so everything was new, towels, sheets, etc. The bed is very comfortable and the breakfast was incredible! The host and his family are very friendly and welcoming and ready to help you in whatever you need. It’s also close to the entrance of Adam’s peak.

Rushi went above and beyond — room upgrade, spa bookings, balloons, birthday cake, gift, and card — every detail was perfect. Suresh’s cookery class was brilliant, and thanks to Mr Vithu, Jana, and the whole team. We loved the billiards room, spa, amazing food, and our stunning suite. Stayed 13–14 August — pure magic!

The people / staff were the best. The manager Anjana was on top of all requests and made sure we had everything we needed for a great experience. Example, we needed to coordinate a day use car with driver for an abseiling experience and Anjana sorted that within a days notice! The food was amazing! Worth getting up in time for breakfast and we ordered dinner both nights! Great views and relaxing vibe.

What really elevated our experience was the quality of the food and service. Every meal was a delight, featuring a variety of local and international dishes prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The flavors were rich and memorable, making each dining experience a culinary adventure. The staff at Arsulana deserves every bit of praise. They were genuinely the most friendly and attentive team we have encountered in our travels. Their warmth and professionalism made us feel at home from the outset. It's rare to find such a committed team, and their enthusiasm and dedication were apparent in every interaction. Special recognition goes to Ashley, the lodge manager, whose personal touch made our stay exceptionally pleasant. He went out of his way to ensure that all our needs were met, from arranging special activities to offering insightful tips about exploring the local area. His efforts truly made our experience the best it could be. Having stayed in four different hotels while in Sri Lanka, Arsulana Eco Lodge & Spa set a remarkably high standard that other places simply couldn't match. We still find ourselves talking about how it was the highlight of our trip. We wholeheartedly recommend Arsulana Eco Lodge & Spa to anyone looking for a unique and luxurious experience in Sri Lanka.
