The pool was clean, and the breakfast was very good. This place is quiet and beautiful, especially at night in the jungle. In the morning, it was fun to feed wild peacocks. The caretaker, Priyantha, was very friendly and even took us around the village on his small scooter.

We had a fantastic stay and felt very comfortable throughout our visit. The journey to the accommodation is quite an adventure, as it is located almost inside the national park. Just before arriving, where we were picked up at the end of the paved road, we even encountered a wild elephant. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful. They took care of organizing our safari, including a breakfast package. We arrived after 7 PM and were still a bit hungry, and they generously prepared one of the best and most diverse meals of our entire trip at around 8:30 PM—free of charge. We were also welcomed with a delicious drink upon arrival. The open-air bathroom was beautifully designed, adding to the unique experience. If you enjoy adventure, this place offers incredible value for money. We would definitely return and will be recommending it to our friends!

Our stay at Animal View Point Yala was absolutely unforgettable! Nestled in the heart of the jungle, we stayed in a charming treehouse that provided a truly authentic and thrilling experience. Falling asleep to the sounds of nature and waking up surrounded by wildlife was like living a dream. The owner, Shashika, is an exceptional host. He welcomed us with open arms, sharing his vast knowledge and insights about the local culture and environment. Shashika went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, treating us to thoughtful surprises and making us feel right at home. One of the highlights was the delicious local dinner lovingly prepared by his mother – it was nothing short of amazing! Shashika also gave us a guided walk around the camp, immersing us in the beauty of the jungle, and organized an incredible safari experience that we will cherish forever. This is the ideal place for anyone looking to truly connect with nature and experience jungle life up close. The wildlife is just beyond the fence, offering a rare opportunity to see and hear it all. Sleeping in a treehouse is an absolute must for anyone’s bucket list, and this stay exceeded all our expectations. Animal View Point Yala is undoubtedly one of the best accommodations we’ve experienced in Sri Lanka. We wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking an adventurous, unique, and authentic jungle getaway. Thank you Shashika, we hope to see you again! :)

It is a really nice accomodation with a beautiful surrounding. The location is perfect if you want to go for a safari in Yala. Furthermore Bala is a really nice host and cook, he prepared us amazing dinner and breakfast.

    Had a great stay at the hotel! Everything matched the booking price, and the staff were super helpful. The room was clean and cozy, with no issues at all. The location is a bit remote, but they offer a convenient ride for a fair price. Loved the peaceful atmosphere and had a good night's sleep. Would definitely recommend it for a relaxing escape!
