What a great place. We needed one night in Badulla to catch a train the nexr day.. Perfect location. Brilliant staff - so helpful. The room was big and beautiful. The whole house was beautiful. Very new so spotlessly clean. Dinner was delicious. Perfect eggs for breakfast.

The hotel was beautiful. We loved the infinity pool. The walkway to your room is so pretty with flowers hanging down. It’s a great spot to take pictures. The breakfast is great as well. We woke up earlier than when breakfast started and they rushed to get it ready for us. I would definitely stay again!

We stayed for 2 nights and had a great experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to answer our questions and assist us. The view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful, a perfect place to relax. Although the location is a bit far from the city, the property offers its own shuttle service to the center at any time you need, which was very convenient. The only small downside was that the room got a bit chilly in the evenings.

I’ve been traveling in Sri Lanka for three weeks, and Crown Regency is the best hotel I’ve stayed at. It’s not far from the bus station, with a market and supermarket nearby. The best part is you don’t need to worry about finding a restaurant—the rooftop restaurant’s food is incredibly delicious, and the breakfast is hearty. The prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is great, and locals often dine there too. I even met some friendly locals at the restaurant who took me around Badulla. The hotel is in a quiet alley with stunning mountain views, beautiful in both rain and shine. The price is very affordable, yet the service feels like a five-star hotel. Vinishya, in particular, went out of her way to show me a wedding venue hosted at the hotel. The rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable—I’d say cleaner than many four-star hotels. The air conditioning and fans work perfectly, and the hot water in the bathroom is reliable. The Wi-Fi is a bit unstable, but I managed fine with my phone’s network. I originally planned to stay one night but ended up staying three. Thank you, Crown Regency, for providing such high-quality accommodation for travelers. This is my honest review.

When you first arrive at new accomodation there’s always that little worry - is it happily up to standard or a little disappointing. No worries at all at the Cubes. This accomodation exceeded our expectations, with lovely attentive staff and large quality rooms. A highlight for us was the dinning area which had a great view of the countryside where we could unwind and hang out after the long road trip in. We would absolutely recommend to a friend.

As the name is saying the place is awesome! Super friendly staff, good food and amazing views from the top of the hill. If you are looking for a place which is more isolated and private then it’s a perfect. It will take approximately 20-30 min with tuk tuk to the Ella city. It took longer by car so recommended to take a tuk tuk. The weather was a bit chilly during our stay (January) so we needed to wait a sunny day to use the pool :)

This was probably the best accommodation we had in Sri Lanka. The owner was very kind. We rented a tuktuk going to Ella. He drove our tuktuk going to his place, bought us dinner from the city, and cooked us a very sumptuous breakfast. The place was amazing. Although it had no a/c, we were still able to sleep well at night. Apparently, there were not much bugs during our stay there. The place is just beside the famous Asanka Cafe.
