Chaminda and his team were super friendly to me. Communication with Chaminda was very easy by WhatsApp. The Cottage is super clean and very good, also compared to European top standards.

Location is amazing. Like a little private island. Entrance to the resort is like a nice walk in mangrove jungle. It’s really well mantained. We stayed in the ac room and the room was super clean, really comfortable and well decorated. Staff and the owner, ware really helpful and really sweet to us. We can totally recommend to stay here.

It was just perfect! The villa and the environment is wonderful! Even nicer than on the picture! The family took care of every which we had and were super friendly! We recommend this place to everyone! Its much more nicer than the hotels on the beach, and very easy to reach by public Transport and TukTuk for the last meters. It was the nicest accommodation we had on our 3.5 week Sri Lanka trip and a perfect place to finish it :-)

The Staff of Ellankanda Villa made our stay so very pleasent. The food was excellent(!) and we always felt very cared about. Rooms are very clean and you can tell that there is a sense of detail, which give the place its charme. It is a quite place, but you can nicely explore the area by yourself (or in our case we were even gives a small tour by the Staff - thank you again!). Absolut recommendation if you want to spend some quite days in a great place.

- It was the most modern and beautiful place we stayed at during our travel in Sri Lanka - We had a small issue: they forgot our reservation, but we only had to wait 10 minutes to get in, and they immidiately companseted us with upgrating our room and giving us a welcome drink. I absolutely loved this small hotel! It’s simple, but its location right by the beach makes it truly special. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the ocean view was amazing. The atmosphere was peaceful, and our host Sashi was so friendly and welcoming. Every day, we were treated to a different delicious breakfast, which made our stay even more special. Plus, we could always count on Sashi for help—such a kind and attentive person! This hotel is a true hidden gem by the beach. Highly recommended! :)
