Most amazing service, best hospitality, the manager Saman did everything to make our stay very pleasant. Special thanks to Viduna and Hassan, who help us with everything, they were the kindest people we have ever met. Special thanks to our chef Denura, who made every meal delicious. The rooms were beautiful, we were given an upgrade to a room with a view of both the water fall and the reservoir. Absolutely breathtaking and great to watch sunset! The food was some of the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka, and the hotel is so peaceful. It’s walking distance to Ramboda Falls and a short TukTuk ride to tea plantations. Highly recommend staying here!

The hotel is of course old, but the team is excellent - the rooms are renovated, the plumbing and bathroom are new and comfortable, there is hot water. The Windows overlook the road, but the view is of the mountains and greenery. The noise from the road is not audible if you close the windows. Breakfasts and dinners are super delicious. You can also order lunches. A wonderful woman cooks, you can warn about your preferences in advance - in general, all questions and wishes can be quickly and clearly resolved through Farvees (Operations Coordinator). The rooms are spacious, there is everything you need and an electric kettle and tea. Around the mountains, waterfalls and tea plantations factories, temples - we specially returned to these places after a trip to Noir Elia and Ella. The hotel itself has a lot of common comfortable spaces in the fresh air and under the roof - you can be alone or gather a company at the table, we used free billiards for guests. Special thanks to the Beautiful Shiva for an interesting and informative tour. The hotel has a good natural cosmetics and tea shop.

We loved this property and wished we stayed 3 nights. It is a lovely boutique hotel outside of Nuwara Eliya, with amazing views, refreshing pool to swim in and a games room where you can play pool at night. Lovely staff also.

I enjoyed my stay at nalinda's. A warm welcome from his family, food is very good, bed was comfy. It is an ideal place to rest after stage 2. Also, Nalinda is a tourist guide and tour operator, so you can learn a lot from him and ask him to show you his region.

We had just finished walking all 300km of the mountainous pekoe trail so this was the perfect place to come and chill straight after. Loved the pool and the service, food and everything about this place. Felt like a very special place indeed.

Big compliment to Akila, he was the best!!! i would visit this place again because of him. our child loved him, he did everything that we feel at home the place wouldn't be the same without Akila Villa, Pool, Food and co was super, we stayed for 4 nights and relaxed a lot and enjoyed it

    Prosper, our host, is a very special person and really made...

    Prosper, our host, is a very special person and really made this home stay very special. The view was spectacular and the tea factory tour was well worth a visit. It is an old plantation which still uses traditional methods. We had a free tour which included tea tasting and picking the leaves. You need to go out to eat so we went to Tea Bush Hotel which was about 2km away. We took Prosper too 😀
